ABOUT SOUTH WILTSHIRE MINI SOCCER LEAGUE

The South Wiltshire Mini Soccer League was founded in 2019 to provide local affiliated football opportunities for clubs in the south of Wiltshire. It began with with 12 teams, playing across an u7 and u9 development division. Fast forward 4 years and 2023/24 season is our most exciting yet. We now have 45 teams, from u7s - u12s. This season we also launched our first Girls division with an U11/12s division, to go alongside our mixed divisions and we hope to grow our girls football offering over the coming seasons. We have also developed a new league committee, with our members at the heart of the leagues decision making and development. Our aim is to provide young players with local, fun and varied playing opportunities in an environment where they feel safe. 

 

Our season plan includes home and away development matches, central venue trophy events, smaller sided festivals and Futsal. As part of this offering we utilise the new 3G pitch at Sarum Academy for our central venue festivals and events, as well as the indoor hall for Futsal. 

 

We want to champion 'We Only Do Positive' and RESPECT to create safe environments for young players to have fun and develop. We also want to LISTEN to children and give them the opportunity shape the game that they love and our central venue festivals provide an opportunity to gather player feedback. We want children to #SHOOTSHOUTSHARE
